A Design Process Revealed

I would like to say this article was very informative. Researching and planning can help out a design in the long run. I don’t know how many times I have sat down at the computer to design a site and drawn a complete blank or I have hundreds of ideas but now of them would work for the design. It helps to put the work down on paper with the ideas both good and bad of what you want.

I also liked his idea of checking out the competitions sites. Where you can get the plans to surpass the set ups they have and be able to blow the out of the water.

With all the steps he put in, I can say that I will be referring back to this article from time to time to help with what I need.

  1. Have you been to the portfolio show? All the steps that he mention in the article is something to consider leading up the final portfolio show for us and I’m so ready.

  2. Too true. I believe that you have to see what is out there, before you can really get an idea of what you wanna do.
I’ve also noticed that after reading everyone’s goals, that we want to be able to write code that works for all browsers. That has to be my # 1 priority.

  3. I can surely see myself going back to this article again too. As far as the competitors go, it’s always best to be better then everyone else! I still have that problem of narrowing down ideas also. Hopefully after getting some tips from the article I can have better luck with that. What’s your final project going to be?
